The Original Harry Potter Style
Basic with a twist is the best way to describe Mr. Potters attire. Hope you enjoy my tips.

Take the classic Griffendor student robes for the outer layer of the costume. Under that you place:

•  a white collard shirt
•  Black pants
• A red and gold striped Griffendoor tie
• Wand (11 inches long, made of holly wood, and the core is a phoenix feather)

• Face paint (For scar on his forehead)
•  Whatever your preferred shoe is
• Round wire frame glasses
• Hair gel (create a messy do)
• Black hair color spray(for non-black hair people)
• Note: all hair lengths will do for this role. year 1-3 are all shaggy skater cut length, year4 is long shoulder length, year 5 is short spiky almost a buzz cut, 6 is short but not as short as 5, 7 is back you shaggy hair on top that almost reaches his ears. Pick a year that fits your current hair style.

The Seveorus Snape Look

Who doesn't like the complicated, yet heart wrenching story of our favorite bad guy turned good! Lets give a shout out to all the Severus Snape Fans out there. Girls love him for his hair and heart, guys like his hair and attitude, everybody wants to be him. Well here is how to go about creating your very own Severus Snape costume. Lets Get Started!

First and foremost the most important part of this costume is the hair. If you already have long black dark hair its easy for you, don't wash it for a couple days to give it that perfect greasy Snap hair look. If you don't have long black hair you can purchase a black wig and use that. You can usually find them in your local party stores.



For Guys:
Next you will need ling Black robes.

• Black pants or black Dress Pants
• Black long sleeved button up shirt(the longer the sleeves the better) or all black Preachers Outfit
• Black dress shoes

For Girls(less exact replica of Snapes costume):

• Tight black shirt (long sleeved) 
• Black skinny jeans
• Black boots

For Both Costumes:

Harry Potter Basic Costumes

I will start with the Harry Potter character costume basics! Depending on your sorted house you may want to dress as either a Gryffindor student, Slytherin student, Hufflepuff student, or a Ravenclaw student.

For your basic Hogwarts student you will need:
 

• A long black cloak (preferably with a hood)

•  A striped tie corresponding with your specific house (ie.green for Slythrin,blue for Ravenclaw,  red for Griffendor, and yellow for Huffelpuff)

• Black slacks or a gray or black pleated skirt

• A house patch to out on your robes

 Use the main Hogwarts crest if you wish to wear a badge as a teacher (not as a student). Student receive house patches.
